Donna L. Schneider, SPHR, has 30 years of human resource experience. She has worked in service industries, game design and high tech companies. Donna has a B.A. from San Diego State University. She also has her lifetime certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Human Resource Certification Institute.
Donna has been very active in the human resource community. She served on the board of the Seattle Chapter for eight years from 1990 through 1997 including three years as President. During her tenure as President of the Seattle Chapter, the Chapter was honored with the SHRM/Olsten Pinnacle Award becoming the first WA State Chapter to receive the award. She was elected to the SHRM National Workforce Readiness Committee in 1997 where she volunteered for six years. She also spent 8 years on the WA State Council as school-to-work director, director-elect, director and immediate past director.
Donna was also a charter member of the Membership Advisory Committee that reports directly to the SHRM CEO and Board of Directors representing the nine state councils for the SHRM Pacific Northwest Region and served in that role for two years.

Marilyn is the Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources for Kitsap Bank in Port Orchard, Washington. Founded in 1908, Kitsap Bank is one of the longest-running, locally owned and operated community banks in the State of Washington. Kitsap Bank has 260 employees and 24 locations. Prior to joining Kitsap Bank in October of 2006, Marilyn served as the Regional Manager for SHRM's Pacific West Region, which included the states of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. She held this position for 15 years. Marilyn has over 30 years of experience in the human resource field.
Marilyn received her MBA from Pacific Lutheran University and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington. Kelly Cameron, has over 20 years experience as a Human Resources professional. She has been the Human Resources Director since 2001 at Synsor Corporation, a retail wood display design and manufacturing company in Everett, Washington. She was the first HR person for the company since it was established in 1971. Previous employment includes JanSport, Inc., which manufactures and distributes backpacks. During her 11 year tenure there, she created and developed the complete Human Resource function.
Kelly Cameron received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington Business School with an emphasis in Human Resources Management. She earned her PHR certification in 1991. She has been active in promoting HR professional development at the chapter, state and regional levels. She served as President of the Snohomish County Human Resource Management Association (SCHRA) for 2 years. Debbie Ireland serves as the Human Resources Manager for Golden Northwest Aluminum Holding Company in The Dalles, OR, and Goldendale, WA, where she has been employed (under various owners) for the past 30 years. Alan Cabelly, Ph. D., SPHR, has been a Human Resource Management faculty member at Portland State University since 1980, and has served as Area Director for the Management/HRM Area since 1997. He teaches in all aspects of HRM at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels, as well as to many diverse groups nationally and internationally. His doctoral degree is from the University of Washington. His diverse travel and teaching experiences (including Egypt, China, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Russia, Germany and Korea) allow him to bring unique approaches to his work.
His SHRM/NHRMA volunteer experience is extensive. Alan began serving on the NHRMA (then PNPMA) Board of Directors in 1982, and has served in various roles, including President of NHRMA in 2000. Active on the SHRM College Relations Committee, he was on the task force that developed the HRGames. Prof. Cabelly has been named SHRM Advisor of the Year, twice Distinguished Member of NHRMA, and earned the Human Resources Award of Excellence from the Portland Chapter of NHRMA/SHRM. He is currently Director of the Oregon State Council.
Prof. Cabelly’s prime focus is on Leadership Excellence, using the DiSC© system and other contemporary techniques for Executive and Leadership Coaching. Rick Howell has 23 years experience as an HR professional. Currently he is the head of Human Capital at Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc. In this turnaround assignment he is responsible for leading the culture change, succession planning, Fibre University, organizational structure changes, and the talent management process.
Mr. Howell’s human resource experience also includes positions at Knowledge Learning Corporation, Columbia Forest Products, Nike, Inc., The Heathman Group, Red Lion and Westin hotel chains. At various points in his career he has specialized in training and development, employee relations, compensation, safety and workers compensation, with titles ranging from Coordinator to Vice President.
A frequent speaker at human resource conferences, Mr. Howell has also taught night school for Washington State University, Portland State University, and/or City University for the past twenty years. Rick started the WSU Vancouver HR Student Chapter. Jennifer Schwope has worked in the field of Human Resources for over ten years. She is currently the Director of Human Resources for K2/SourceCode Technology Holdings, Inc., a leading business process management software company and partner of Microsoft that operates in countries including the US, UK, Singapore and South Africa. Jennifer received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Central Washington University, where she began her involvement in NHRMA and SHRM in 1999. She is currently the Recruitment and Background Investigations Manager for the Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC).
