Dennis currently holds the position of Senior Generalist with the Administrative Office (Tribal Government) of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. He is responsible for Employee Relations and Training, including Management Development, Organizational Development, Policy Development and Compliance Issues.
Dennis received a Bachelor of Science (Theology) and a Bachelor of Religious Education (Education) from Western Baptist College , a Master of Science in Financial Services and a Master of Science in Management from the American College , Bryn Mawyr, Pennsylvania . He also received a Master of Arts (Administration), Doctor of Ministries - Magna Cum Laude (Communications) and Doctor of Philosophy (Historical and Theological Constructs) from the California Graduate School , Glendale, California . Dennis also holds numerous professional certifications: Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania), Senior Professional in Human Resources (1994), and had the distinction of being one of the first 100 Human Resource Professionals world wide to be awarded the Global Professional In Human Resources certification (2004).
Dennis' volunteer and leadership roles have included: South Puget Sound Chapter board roles of Secretary, VP Programs, and President in 2000. Dennis co-chaired the 2002 NHRMA Conference, and served on the SHRM Region V Board of Directors in 2003.
Dennis also served on the HRCI Test Writing Committee in 2003 & 2004; Dennis served for five years as Vice Chair of the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber of Commerce (Government and Legislative Affairs), and Eight years as a member of the Pierce County Personnel Board. He also served 3 years on the United Way of Pierce County Personnel Committee; Dennis has been an instructor for the University of Washington since 1994 teaching PHR, SPHR Certification, CEBS, and HR Certificate programs, he is currently teaching at both the Seattle and Tacoma campuses; Dennis has served as president of two Professional Financial organizations in the South Puget Sound, and is a Certified Senior Mediator with the Mediation Consortium of Washington. Dennis is an active member of the South Puget Sound Chapter of NHRMA and a member of the American Society for Training and Development.

Monique serves as the Vice President of Human Resources and Training for First Tech Credit Union. Previously, she worked for Columbia Management, the asset management arm of Bank of America, holding positions as VP/ Business Manager, Regional HR Director and Sr. HR Business Partner. Additionally, she spent nearly 10 years in the insurance industry in various HR generalist roles. A longtime member of SHRM, Monique served 10 years on the Oregon State Council as Secretary, Director-Elect, Director and as the Past Director. Marilyn is the Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources for Kitsap Bank in Port Orchard, Washington. Founded in 1908, Kitsap Bank is one of the longest-running, locally owned and operated community banks in the State of Washington. Kitsap Bank has 270 employees and 28 locations. Prior to joining Kitsap Bank in October of 2006, Marilyn served as the Regional Manager for SHRM's Pacific West Region, which included the states of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. She held this position for 15 years. Marilyn has over 30 years of expereince in the human resource field.
Marilyn received her MBA from Pacific Lutheran University and a BA in Business Administration from the Unviersity of Washington. She has her lifetime certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resource Certification Institute. Debbie Ireland serves as the Human Resources Manager for Golden Northwest Aluminum Holding Company in The Dalles, OR, and Goldendale, WA, where she has been employed (under various owners) for the past 30 years. Carrie Loewen is the Director of Human Resources at Western States Chiropractic College. Previously she worked at Lewis & Clark College as the Employment/Administrative Manager where she completed her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. She is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources through the Human Resource Certification Institute.
Carrie was an active Portland Chapter (PHRMA) board member from 2003–2006 as the Director of Special Interest Groups/Legislative Affairs, Director of Mentorship and Director of College Relations. She will serve a two year appointment as the Communications Coordinator on the Board of Directors for the Western Region of CUPA-HR effective July 1, 2008. Donna L. Schneider, SPHR, has 30 years of human resource experience. She has worked in service industries, game design and high tech companies. Donna has a B.A. from San Diego State University. She also has her lifetime certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Human Resource Certification Institute.
Donna has been very active in the human resource community. She served on the board of the Seattle Chapter for eight years from 1990 through 1997 including three years as President. During her tenure as President of the Seattle Chapter, the Chapter was honored with the SHRM/Olsten Pinnacle Award becoming the first WA State Chapter to receive the award. She was elected to the SHRM National Workforce Readiness Committee in 1997 where she volunteered for six years. She also spent 8 years on the WA State Council as school-to-work director, director-elect, director and immediate past director.
Donna was also a charter member of the Membership Advisory Committee that reports directly to the SHRM CEO and Board of Directors representing the nine state councils for the SHRM Pacific Northwest Region and served in that role for two years.

Catherine Dovey is founder and Principal of Compensation Works LLC, a consulting firm specializing in strategic rewards. Catherine has 20 years of experience in diverse industries, union and non-union environments as well as private and public sector organizations. She received her undergraduate degree in Organizational Development and an MBA from the Washington State University.
